Fertilization is an important aspect in the plant life cycle. So Boron helps in pollen tube germination that intern helps in pollen movement to the ovary which results in good fertilization and helps in fruit formation.

Boron is an essential micronutrient required by all the plants which helps in better uptake of Phosphorous and Potassium by forming root colonization with mycorrhizal fungi which helps in uptake of P. Shortage of Boron causes loss in yield due to improper flower formation and poor pollination. Boron is required for both vegetative as well as reproductive stage of plant growth. Also it plays an important role in pollen tube growth and over all flower development and plays major role in effective pollination. Boron supplement is a concentrated fertilizer complexed with ethanolamine which is free from sodium.

Water soluble Boron- 15.4 % complexed with ethanolamine

Directions to use:

Mix 0.5 mL of Boron supplement in 1 litre of water and mixed solution should be sprayed on the leaves and flowers once in 10 days interval exactly at bud initiation and flowering stage of the crop plants.


Boron supplement is compatible with most commonly used fertilizers and agro-chemicals, except those with alkaline solution (pH more than 6.5).

Mode of action:

The ethanolamine complex enhances the absorption through the leaves and translocate inside the plants and finally boron uptake in ionic form.

 Boron deficiency in plants:
